Macy’s a big help with progress photos.
Yay! Progress on my Hippolyta helm- I started by sculpting the angles on a base mask then pressed Worbla down over the details. It still needs the giant bird detail on the front!
Finished up the armor pattern!
I finally finished the wig for my Marvel NOW! Hippolyta cosplay.127 dreadlocks made from 3 varieties of local NC wool roving handsewn to a spandex cap.
I started my armor pattern tonight. First step- getting the base shape in masking tape!
I finished the corset that is going to act as a support under my Hippolyta chestplate armor.Made from English Coutil with steel bones from a pattern I drafted custom for my measurements.
I *almost* finished last night- just have to hand stitch the back side of the bias trim and I’ll have my first custom overbust corset. :-D
The beginning of a simple herringbone coutil corset to be worn as support under my armor. :-)
Here’s how I made my dreads, in a nutshell.
I’m about 80% of the way done with the wig for my Hippolyta cosplay!
